- These terms apply to all reservations made for Irton Manor stays or events. “Owner” (or “Representative”) refers to Irton Manor’s booking team, and “Hirer” refers to the guest or event organiser. Where a booking is placed via a third-party platform (e.g. Airbnb), both that platform’s terms and these terms apply. If there is a conflict, the stricter / more restrictive policy governs the booking on that platform.
- Refunds are issued only in line with the applicable cancellation policy. The Owner/Representative is not liable for cancellations arising from transport disruption, illness, weather, personal reasons, or other matters beyond their control.
- Hirers should obtain comprehensive travel or event insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, illness, and any interruption before or during the booking.
- If the Owner/Representative must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. property damage, emergency repairs), the Hirer will be offered either:
- a full refund of monies paid, or
- the option to rebook for alternative dates (subject to availability).
The Owner’s liability is limited to monies paid and does not extend to consequential losses such as travel or accommodation costs elsewhere.
- Standard Holiday Let Bookings (made directly with the Owner/Representative)
- Cancel 30+ days before check-in: full refund of accommodation payments.
- Cancel within 48 hours of booking, provided check-in is 14+ days away: full refund of accommodation payments.
- Cancel fewer than 30 days before check-in: non-refundable (refunds may be considered at the Owner’s discretion in exceptional circumstances).
- If the Hirer fails to pay the balance by the due date, the Owner may cancel the booking and retain any amounts already paid.
- For event bookings, the securing deposit is non-refundable once paid. (This is separate from any accommodation deposit for standard holiday lets.)
- Where a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving written cancellation.
- Requests to postpone or reschedule are treated as cancellations unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Owner may, at their discretion, offer alternative dates subject to availability and any applicable rebooking or price adjustments.
