Irton Manor — A Yorkshire Estate for Gatherings and Getaways

We had such a great stay at Irton Manor and would happily recommend it to anyone. The house is amazing, with loads of space, brilliant facilities and everything you could need for a relaxing break. We particularly loved the pool, tennis courts and outdoor dining space. It was perfect for our family, and there was always something to do.

Tommy was a fantastic host too! Very friendly, easy to get hold of and nothing was ever too much trouble. He made everything really straightforward from start to finish.

We stayed at the cabin for a week and it was everything we hoped for and more.

Absolutely spotless, extremely well appointed, comfortable beds and of course the amazing hot tub, which was also spotless and checked twice daily to ensure hygiene levels were safe.

What really stood out was the location, so peaceful and private, even though the Manor House is just a short distance away the cabin is very private and you really feel like you could be in the middle of nowhere (in a good way!) We spotted badgers, deer, hares, dragonflies and more, the summerhouse and fire pit are the perfect spot to relax and watch nature.

Finally, the process from booking to checking out was smooth, seamless and we were kept updated along the way with everything we needed to know for arrival. Tommy was friendly and welcoming, nothing was a bother.

Hope to return next year and would highly recommend the cabin at Irton Manor to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday with top notch accommodation.

The Log Cabin is an absolute wonderful place to stay, the Cabin itself is very spacious with an open plan
Lounge, Dining area and Kitchen with a beautiful Log Burner and Hearth. Two sets of French doors lead you
outside onto the huge decked area and garden furniture.
Outside is the place to be, peace, tranquility and beauty all rolled into one, this is due to the abundance of
wildflowers adjacent to the lodge, your own pond directly in front with its abundance of pondlife and the
forested nature reserve beyond that.
Each day when the sun broke through, the wildflowers would be saturated by hundreds of butterflies in search of nectar, it was lovely just to sit and watch, one of my favourites was to sit next to the pond and watch the Emperor Dragonflies buzzing back and forth.
Each morning my wife would creep out onto the decking and sit in silence for the arrival of the Doe and her two Fawns, and they did not let her down, they would spend upto an hour exploring and playing within metres of my silent wife, the special moment, one day the mother tried to clean the fawn after it had been playing around, unfortunately the fawn was having none of it and spun 100% and leapt over her mothers back and away.

Irton Manor is just an amazing place to have a holiday. It’s got everything you will ever need. The accommodation was immense, extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The outside space was great for adults and the children, with the foot golf, tennis court and croquet lawn a huge success. The indoor pool with all the inflatables being provided was perfect, as was the games room . A welcome hamper with wine chilling in the fridge made for a great start to the holiday. A big thanks to Tommy the Estate Manager who made us feel welcome from the time we arrived to the day we left. I would highly recommend Irton Manor to anyone and we will be back to stay again.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous, everything you needed was there , peaceful surroundings and the grounds where also we kept , the visiting wildlife was also amazing deer & two young deer , rabbits , hares, fox , badger and the birds of prey contributed to the holiday .would highly recommended.The hot tube was also great and very clean .

A great weekend in a beautiful house. We’ve had the perfect stay and lucky with the weather too. Tommy was super helpful and available to answer our call for help whether it was first aid or showing us where to find the Deer & fawn.

Our recent stay exceeded all expectations. The property is beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and every detail has clearly been carefully considered.

Tommy was an exceptional host — nothing was ever too much trouble. He was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. While the house itself is stunning, it’s Tommy’s thoughtful approach that truly elevates the experience.

The check-in and check-out process was seamless, with clear communication and helpful information provided throughout.

The house is simply magical and perfect for a multi-generational family stay. There was something for everyone to enjoy, and the immaculate grounds added to the overall charm.

We found it hard to leave the property, as it offered everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were fantastic highlights.
