We had a really nice stay at The Log Cabin. It was our second visit and we find it quiet, very comfortable and relaxing. We like going into Scarborough and visiting surrounding areas, Whitby, Pickering, etc. Ryedale Auctioneers is a place we visit at Kirbymoorside, we happen to catch Angus Ashworth in his Gavel and Bean cafe, had a quick chat and photo about his TV series The Yorkshire Auction House. Tommy is very helpful and is usually about if need advice or some help. The scenery and wild life around The Log Cabin is exceptional and we will look forward to another visit in the near future. Thank you Tommy for your help and support.

We’ve just had the most amazing 3-night stay at Tommy’s cabin and honestly, it exceeded all expectations. It’s even better than the pictures!
Tommy was a fantastic host – really accommodating and helpful throughout. The cabin itself was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed (and more), which made the whole stay feel so easy and relaxing.
The footgolf was a huge hit with my boys – they absolutely loved it and it kept them entertained for hours. The hot tub was another highlight – super clean, peaceful, and the perfect way to unwind.
Our favourite moment though was spotting deer on our last morning – such a special way to end the trip.
Overall, a brilliant place to stay. We’d highly recommend it and would definitely love to come back!

The house is outstanding! So much to do in the house and gardens that you dont need to leave! The pool is wonderful. The hot tub , games room , tennis , croquet… everything provided. The kitchen is incredibly equipped and the wine fridge bigger than the food fridge !!!! So many areas of the house to sit and read or chat, listen to music , honestly this place has it all. Tommy was super friendly and responsive right from the time of booking- well even before. I could not recommend Irton Manor more highly. Thank you so much for an incredible stay and we would love to return!❤️

This place is stunning, the pictures do not do it justice at all, the property has all the amenities you could think of and then some! Beautiful views, stunning hot tub which maintains temperature whilst in use and the property itself is pristine. Warm welcome by text and email with detailed instructions, rooms are good size and plenty of space, stunning log fire and extra wood available in the summer house. All in all an incredible stay – we will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing stay – this place exceeded all expectations. I agree with others who say that the pool is larger than the photos suggest. The place was immaculate and had everything (and more) that we could possibly want. The house is amazing – the old part with its history, and the newer extension which flows seamlessly from the older part. The grounds were superb – fairy bridges, fountains, ponds and orchards to explore, tennis courts, the largest activity field I’ve ever seen, croquet etc etc. The supplied equipment for the games also exceeded expectations. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the wildlife in the grounds, the grounds, the house – all of it!
We were spending time together as a family, including 6 children under the age of 9. Their favourite bits ‘the pool, the pool table, the video games, the deer, swimming again and the hot tub’.
Tommy was an excellent host – very responsive to queries, but in a very unobtrusive way.

We’ve just returned from an Easter family gathering at Irton Manor and had a truly memorable holiday in an amazing venue. Tommy and the team looked after us brilliantly. The house was welcoming, immaculately clean and cared for and well equiped for all ages. We really appreciated the hamper of local produce. There were so many highlights; the pool was loved by everyone, the games room was a real hit and we particularly enjoyed the foot golf and tennis championships. The extensive grounds are worth exploring with secret hideaways and lots of wildlife was spotted. The house has so many different rooms all with their own character. The kitchen/living room is very social hub with space for everyone and access to a lovely south facing terrace. Irton Manor exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend as a venue for family gatherings. Thank you.

A fantastic and much needed stay in exceptional accommodation, in beautiful, peaceful and nature filled surroundings.
Waking up each morning and seeing the three deer at the lake was a wonderful sight!
Tommy is a great host and so grateful for him and Shane helping me get my car started on the morning of departure, it could have been a very stressful situation for me but was resolved swiftly by their kindness.

Our time at the Log cabin was heavenly 😀 we work in very intense jobs and this was so needed for us to switch off and relax fully. The log cabin is better than the picture. You feel tucked away and so peaceful. A true log cabin and with the luxury of a hot tub and all the extras are so special. We came away fully rested and planning the next time we can escape away together there again. Tommy was incredibly and readily available should be have a quick question. Thank you for all your help. We are very grateful for our time away.

The log cabin was prepared impeccably, with a lot of forethought. Tommy has created the perfect little hideaway for a couple, and my fiancée and I cannot speak highly enough of our stay. we had the best time staying here. such a lovely, quiet cabin perfect for the much needed break from busy life. it had everything we needed for our stay and more, the hot tub was absolutely lovely. we felt so at home and would love to visit again one day!

I stayed at the cabin for 5 days. the pictures dont do it justice, its beautiful. The cabin is cosy, very well equipped and exceptionally clean. Its situated in a beautiful location, which is private and peaceful. The grounds are well kept and we saw wildlife everyday. Tommy was friendly and very helpful. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend the cabin.

We have just returned from the most magical, spectacular Christmas at Irton Manor. As a group of 15, comprising 6 households, we were a little nervous booking a property together. However, Tommy was the most amazing ambassador and responded to all of our daft questions, with patience and understanding. When we arrived, we were utterly overcome by the vast sense of space within the property, and the peaceful, extensive grounds. The meticulously organized and superbly equipped kitchen was a joy, and the huge integrated space offered by the kitchen/living area/orangerie flowing into the dining room worked perfectly for our group. The library offered a perfect haven for board games and quiet reading and the games room occupied us all in the multi activities offered. The swimming pool and outdoor hot tub were fantastic and so warm! We ventured outdoors for tennis and footgolf and walks in the lovely grounds. The bedrooms and bathrooms were vast and beautiful. We will be returning 🥰!!

This was our second stay at the cabin, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The peaceful surroundings and quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The cozy cabin, beautiful setting and sense of calm kept us relaxed from the moment we arrived. We’re already looking forward to returning again.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful weekend. The setting was so beautiful and the lodge was everything we hoped for. Even better than the photos. It smelled so lovely when you walked in. The beds and linen were very comfy we slept so well. The kitchen was well equipped. The washer and dryer came in handy! The cabin has everything you could need and the hot tub was such a treat. Tommy was the perfect host and we would love to come back!

Had an amazing stay at the log cabin with our grandchildren. Pictures don’t do the cabin justice it’s an amazing space in amazing grounds. Foot golf was an added bonus as was the hot tub.
Tommy the estate manager was really friendly and helpful and keeps the cabin and the estate in perfect condition. Can’t wait to return what an amazing peaceful space.

Luxury, relaxation and a complete escape sums up our stay at Irton Manor. There’s lots to do in the surrounding area for all ages but we didn’t venture far from the grounds as we had everything we needed… and the wildlife was a special bonus! We had a wonderful family break at this beautiful log cabin. It was incredibly peaceful being surrounded by nature — we found it perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. The children absolutely loved it, especially when they spotted three young deer on our final morning! Tommy was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. We’d love to come back again!

From the day we arrived and met Tommy who was very helpful and friendly, then enter the beautiful Log Cabin we could sense it was going to be a lovely week. Everything was more than we expected, a very enjoyable time for me, my wife Chris, my brother Ken and wife Adrienne. We all agreed the Log Cabin and surroundings was exceptional. Looking forward to coming again next year, thank you Tommy.

Excellent property in all categories. Its location was ideal. No adjoining properties, complete privacy, in a fabulously tranquil setting. Tommy met us at the property and made us feel very welcome. Not far from all resorts and market towns, it was one of the best holidays we have had with Sykes and perhaps the best ever property we have rented. Just superb.

Back from a fabulous few days at Irton Manor. As a large group of adults with learning disabilities it can be difficult to find places that suit all of our needs, but it wasn’t an issue this trip. Although the photos look amazing, I can honestly say the place was even better than we had imagined. The games room was a huge hit with everyone, the pool was perfect and the amount of rooms and space is a real treat for our large group. The outdoor activities were brilliant and well equipped. We received a lovely greeting from Tommy on arrival, he gave us all the info we needed and left us to enjoy our break.

Every year, on behalf of my Mum, I book a large property for the whole family to get together. We have stayed in wonderful places over the years, but Irton Manor has been a standout in every sense. The house itself is immaculately kept and luxurious, with everything provided, but it is also very liveable in, which is unusual for this sort of property. The grounds are delightful with so much to do that it’s hard to drag yourself out for the day; the temptation to stay in and play tennis and croquet, relax in the hot tub or mess around in the pool was too great for us on several occasions! The star of the show though is Tommy who, as estate manager, could not be more welcoming, cheerful or accommodating; it was a privilege to get to talk to him during our weeks’ stay. I’ve never been drawn to book the same accommodation for a subsequent year, but this might be the place that breaks the rule. Thank you, Tommy and team, for our memorable holiday, and maybe we’ll meet again!

We stayed a week at the log cabin and really cannot wait to return again. It is truly a magical place to relax and listen and see the wildlife.
I’ve never been anywhere that you don’t need nothing .. from having an umbrella at hand if needed .. to having a spare lightbulbs ..it’s truly a lovely location to spend relaxing days / nights and close to walks and the beach ..
definitely highly recommend.
My son enjoyed searching for all the wildlife and playing football golf ..
I shall be returning for a nice weekend child free break very soon 🫶

We had an unforgettable 3-night stay at Irton Manor as a group of 8 adults and 14 children, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The photos honestly don’t do it justice – we were blown away by how big and beautiful the house is. It was thoughtfully designed and built with so much character and space.The entire place was spotless, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. Everything was immaculately clean, and fresh towels (including swimming towels) were provided for each guest, which made our stay even more comfortable. Our host, Tommy, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure everything was perfect for us.The kids loved the swimming pool, had endless fun running around the huge gardens, and spent hours enjoying the tennis courts. There was more than enough space for everyone, and every part of the house and grounds felt luxurious yet homely.Irton Manor is truly a hidden gem. It’s the perfect place for large families or groups, and we couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

This was our second stay at the log cabin and we will undoubtedly be returning! As soon as you arrive, it’s a peaceful, beautiful and spotlessly clean accommodation.
The surroundings are stunning and sitting and watching the wildlife come and go is so relaxing. We were lucky to have three deers visit frequently.
The footgolf and tennis are wonderful additions and were thoroughly enjoyed.
The cabin itself is a perfect home away from home, the beds are very comfortable, it has everything you need, with tea, coffee and biscuits ready!
Tommy has thought of everything and is always on hand to answer any questions or have a friendly chat.
Being a short distance from Scarborough, we loved visiting the lookout on the pier restaurant and recommend the lifeboat fish and chips too. The cabin is a perfect base to return to after exploring all of the beauty North Yorkshire has to offer.

We were wowed by this place. It was beautiful and homely. My family needed family time and we felt at home here. The grandchildren saw deer in the garden and enjoyed the pool and games room with the adults who work really hard during the year chilled and relaxed. Our stay at Irton Manor was flawless. From arrival, Tommy made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped with every utensil, appliance, and even cookbooks, plus a detailed guide and map. The pool was spotless, checked daily, and had fun floats to use. Every room was modern, unique, and fitted with quality bedding, mattresses, and bathrooms. We loved thoughtful touches like blankets in the lounge and a hamper of local treats. The property had so much to enjoy without leaving—foot-golf, tennis, swimming, hot tub, darts, pool, Pac-Man, and BBQ. There was also plenty of storage for longer stays. Tommy was the perfect host—kind, attentive, and responsive. The grounds are beautiful and the detail and care the team have put into the manor was incredible. We can’t recommend Irton Manor enough and can’t wait to return!

Absolutely stunning – everything was perfect. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need for a short break away. We took our two children 11 & 5 and they both loved watching the wildlife! An absolute delight to see deer so close!! Super peaceful & private surroundings – a real hidden gem!!

We had the most amazing weekend as a family.
What a beautifully situated place the log cabin is, we had nightly visits from the local wildlife including a fawn which our young daughters were thrilled to see!
The welcome bundle including tea, coffee, biscuits and bottle of wine was a lovely surprise.
I would highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed!

The cabin was set in its own secluded area with views across the garden. It was so quiet and peaceful as my my said it was paradise. The amount of wild life around was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this for a stay.

We had an amazing few days at Irton Manor celebrating a family birthday. The house is absolutely stunning, every room felt luxurious and it was very spacious for a group of 13 of us. It was really well equipped and felt like the hosts had thought of everything we might possibly need. There is so much to do and we enjoyed making use of the pool, darts, table tennis, tennis court and footgolf, which was great fun for all ages. The grounds are beautiful and the outdoor seating areas and hot tub were great. Tommy was a brilliant host, really friendly, helpful and welcoming. If you’re looking for an incredible house with plenty to do on site then this is a perfect option, with a bonus of being close to Scarborough and the coast. We had a fantastic time and were very sad to leave, would love to come back some day!

Our stay was fantastic. The cabin was spotless, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully stocked with biscuits and wine, making us feel right at home. Its magical atmosphere made the trip truly special.
As parents of an autistic child, we valued the privacy and space, which allowed our child to play freely in a calm, welcoming environment—something we rarely experience on holiday.
We also enjoyed seeing a deer with her fawns, along with various birds and hares. Everything was perfect. Tommy was amazing perfect host caring for our every need. Our Son is VERY fussy about food but there was even a small freezer to store the foods he will eat this was so helpful for us as most places don’t have a freezer.
We give it a 10/10 and highly recommend for a peaceful, memorable escape.

We had a fabulous, tranquil stay. The Log Cabin is beautifully appointed and situated in idyllic surroundings. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet as we looked out at the view. We also found the footgolf surprisingly enjoyable! We found the cabin was ideally situated for exploring the area and a wonderful haven to return to. Tommy was warm and welcoming and very helpful when needed. Looking forward to a return visit!

What an unforgettable stay! From the moment we arrived, entering the grounds of Irton Manor felt like something special. The log cabin was everything we hoped for – exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard. It was cosy, stylish and with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially for relaxing while spotting local wildlife in the natural surroundings.
It feels wonderfully secluded, but shops and the village are just a short walk away, which was ideal. Tommy the manager, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout. A perfect retreat, we’ve made some cherished memories here and hope to return soon!

We were very impressed with every thing about the property. The wildlife were amazing. We had Deer drinking from the pond , fox , hares , rabbits , variety of birds and not forgetting the resident Guinea Fowl . The property was so clean and of a very high standard . The log cabin gave us the most perfect relaxing holiday we needed and to see family living in Scarborough. The location which is surrounded by nature exceeded our expectations. The log cabin was extremely comfortable and clean with some very thoughtful touches, including a welcome pack and fresh flowers. There are plenty of seating areas outside to watch the wildlife and enjoy the beautiful gardens. The hot tub was a treat, especially in the evenings, as was the bbq and fire pit area and summer house. The hosts were very friendly. We had the most wonderful holiday and were very lucky to stay for an extra two nights!!, Hope to return again soon.
