Frequently asked questions

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 4pm at Irton Manor and 3pm at The Log Cabin at Irton Manor and check-out is by 10am. Let us know your rough arrival time and we’ll have everything ready.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, a minimum of three nights.

Are pets allowed?

Not at present, we’re afraid.

Can we smoke or vape indoors?

No smoking or vaping inside either property; you’re very welcome to outside.

How does payment work?

A 25% deposit secures your dates, with the balance due 12 weeks before arrival. If you book within 12 weeks of arrival, you pay in full instead. A refundable damage deposit is held on your card around your stay (or paid by bank).

Is there a damage deposit?

Yes. Each stay’s page shows its refundable damage deposit before you book.

  • Irton Manor: Refundable damage deposit: £750. Returning guests who sign in: £500.

Held on your card around your stay (or paid by bank), returned 7 to 14 days after you leave.

Do you have WiFi and parking?

Yes. Fast WiFi throughout and private off-road parking at both properties.

How do we book?

Choose your dates on the stay’s page and send us a request. I personally confirm every booking, usually within a day.

Why do you check ID?

Like Airbnb, I verify the lead guest on every booking, unless you're a returning guest I've already approved. It keeps the estate safe for everyone and means I know who I'm welcoming. The check is done by Stripe, who delete the photos once I've decided on your request.
