The Log Cabin at Irton Manor

we would recommend staying here for a couples getaway or for a small family trip. the cabin looks and feels like the photos and description.

A fantastic and much needed stay in exceptional accommodation, in beautiful, peaceful and nature filled surroundings.
Waking up each morning and seeing the three deer at the lake was a wonderful sight!
Tommy is a great host and so grateful for him and Shane helping me get my car started on the morning of departure, it could have been a very stressful situation for me but was resolved swiftly by their kindness.
Thank you and we will be returning!!

Our time at the Log cabin was heavenly 😀 we work in very intense jobs and this was so needed for us to switch off and relax fully. The log cabin is better than the picture. You feel tucked away and so peaceful. A true log cabin and with the luxury of a hot tub and all the extras are so special. We came away fully rested and planning the next time we can escape away together there again. Tommy was incredibly and readily available should be have a quick question. Thank you for all your help. We are very grateful for our time away.

The log cabin was prepared impeccably, with a lot of forethought. Tommy has created the perfect little hideaway for a couple, and my fiancée and I cannot speak highly enough of our stay. we had the best time staying here. such a lovely, quiet cabin perfect for the much needed break from busy life. it had everything we needed for our stay and more, the hot tub was absolutely lovely. we felt so at home and would love to visit again one day!

I stayed at the cabin for 5 days. the pictures dont do it justice, its beautiful. The cabin is cosy, very well equipped and exceptionally clean. Its situated in a beautiful location, which is private and peaceful. The grounds are well kept and we saw wildlife everyday. Tommy was friendly and very helpful. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend the cabin.

This was our second stay at the cabin, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. The peaceful surroundings and quiet atmosphere made it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The cozy cabin, beautiful setting and sense of calm kept us relaxed from the moment we arrived. We're already looking forward to returning again.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful weekend. The setting was so beautiful and the lodge was everything we hoped for. Even better than the photos. It smelled so lovely when you walked in. The beds and linen were very comfy we slept so well. The kitchen was well equipped. The washer and dryer came in handy! The cabin has everything you could need and the hot tub was such a treat. Tommy was the perfect host and we would love to come back!

Had an amazing stay at the log cabin with our grandchildren. Pictures don’t do the cabin justice it’s an amazing space in amazing grounds. Foot golf was an added bonus as was the hot tub.
Tommy the estate manager was really friendly and helpful and keeps the cabin and the estate in perfect condition. Can’t wait to return what an amazing peaceful space.

We had a wonderful family break at this beautiful log cabin. It was incredibly peaceful being surrounded by nature — we found it perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed and more for a comfortable stay. The children absolutely loved it, especially when they spotted three young deer on our final morning! Tommy was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. We’d love to come back again!

Tommy was great and provided a lot of useful information and very clear instructions. The log cabin is amazing, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. We also managed to spot some lovely deers.

From the day we arrived and met Tommy who was very helpful and friendly, then enter the beautiful Log Cabin we could sense it was going to be a lovely week. Everything was more than we expected, a very enjoyable time for me, my wife Chris, my brother Ken and wife Adrienne. We all agreed the Log Cabin and surroundings was exceptional. Looking forward to coming again next year, thank you Tommy.

Excellent property in all categories. Its location was ideal. No adjoining properties, complete privacy, in a fabulously tranquil setting. Tommy met us at the property and made us feel very welcome. Not far from all resorts and market towns, it was one of the best holidays we have had with Sykes and perhaps the best ever property we have rented. Just superb.

We stayed a week at the log cabin and really cannot wait to return again. It is truly a magical place to relax and listen and see the wildlife.
I’ve never been anywhere that you don’t need nothing .. from having an umbrella at hand if needed .. to having a spare lightbulbs ..it’s truly a lovely location to spend relaxing days / nights and close to walks and the beach ..
definitely highly recommend.
My son enjoyed searching for all the wildlife and playing football golf ..
I shall be returning for a nice weekend child free break very soon 🫶

This was our second stay at the log cabin and we will undoubtedly be returning! As soon as you arrive, it’s a peaceful, beautiful and spotlessly clean accommodation.
The surroundings are stunning and sitting and watching the wildlife come and go is so relaxing. We were lucky to have three deers visit frequently.
The footgolf and tennis are wonderful additions and were thoroughly enjoyed.
The cabin itself is a perfect home away from home, the beds are very comfortable, it has everything you need, with tea, coffee and biscuits ready!
Tommy has thought of everything and is always on hand to answer any questions or have a friendly chat.
Being a short distance from Scarborough, we loved visiting the lookout on the pier restaurant and recommend the lifeboat fish and chips too. The cabin is a perfect base to return to after exploring all of the beauty North Yorkshire has to offer.
Thank you so much for another wonderful stay, we will definitely come back to our favourite hidden gem.

beautiful setting amazing views we saw deer hares rabbits all from the lodge. the lodge itself was well equipped and nice and cosy beds very comfortable which made for a lovely stay. would love to return someday

Absolutely stunning - everything was perfect. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need for a short break away. We took our two children 11 & 5 and they both loved watching the wildlife! An absolute delight to see deer so close!! Super peaceful & private surroundings - a real hidden gem!!

We had the most amazing weekend as a family.
What a beautifully situated place the log cabin is, we had nightly visits from the local wildlife including a fawn which our young daughters were thrilled to see!
The welcome bundle including tea, coffee, biscuits and bottle of wine was a lovely surprise.
I would highly recommend a visit you won’t be disappointed!

Our stay at the irton manor log cabin hosted by tommy was absolutely amazing and couldn’t fault it in any way really enjoyed and can’t wait to go back the place is clean and beautiful surrounding and even get chance to see some wildlife which made the weekend x10 better without a doubt I will be sharing it with friends and family Tommy the host was really cooperative and friendly and really looking forward to go back many thanks Luke

The cabin was set in its own secluded area with views across the garden. It was so quiet and peaceful as my my said it was paradise. The amount of wild life around was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this for a stay.

Our stay was fantastic. The cabin was spotless, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully stocked with biscuits and wine, making us feel right at home. Its magical atmosphere made the trip truly special.
As parents of an autistic child, we valued the privacy and space, which allowed our child to play freely in a calm, welcoming environment—something we rarely experience on holiday.
We also enjoyed seeing a deer with her fawns, along with various birds and hares. Everything was perfect. Tommy was amazing perfect host caring for our every need. Our Son is VERY fussy about food but there was even a small freezer to store the foods he will eat this was so helpful for us as most places don’t have a freezer.
We give it a 10/10 and highly recommend for a peaceful, memorable escape.

We had a fabulous, tranquil stay. The Log Cabin is beautifully appointed and situated in idyllic surroundings. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet as we looked out at the view. We also found the footgolf surprisingly enjoyable! We found the cabin was ideally situated for exploring the area and a wonderful haven to return to. Tommy was warm and welcoming and very helpful when needed. Looking forward to a return visit!

What an unforgettable stay! From the moment we arrived, entering the grounds of Irton Manor felt like something special. The log cabin was everything we hoped for - exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and finished to a high standard. It was cosy, stylish and with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially for relaxing while spotting local wildlife in the natural surroundings.
It feels wonderfully secluded, but shops and the village are just a short walk away, which was ideal. Tommy the manager, was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout. A perfect retreat, we’ve made some cherished memories here and hope to return soon!

The Log Cabin and grounds were beautiful. It felt like a home from home and couldn't be happier with Irton Manor. We are definitely planning on going back.. Tommy couldn't be more helpful and we thank him for that!

A true hidden gem, excellent location and grounds, cabin was amazing and a thoughtful welcome pack provided everything needed. Very comfortable and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return. The pond was a beautiful view and seeing the wildlife was a treat.

We were very impressed with every thing about the property. The wildlife were amazing. We had Deer drinking from the pond , fox , hares , rabbits , variety of birds and not forgetting the resident Guinea Fowl . The property was so clean and of a very high standard . The log cabin gave us the most perfect relaxing holiday we needed and to see family living in Scarborough. The location which is surrounded by nature exceeded our expectations. The log cabin was extremely comfortable and clean with some very thoughtful touches, including a welcome pack and fresh flowers. There are plenty of seating areas outside to watch the wildlife and enjoy the beautiful gardens. The hot tub was a treat, especially in the evenings, as was the bbq and fire pit area and summer house. The hosts were very friendly. We had the most wonderful holiday and were very lucky to stay for an extra two nights!!, Hope to return again soon.
